Rycroft Village Council is responsible for providing overall governance including establishing municipal service levels, approval of the annual budget and local taxation levels.
The Council is comprised of five Councillors from which the Mayor and Deputy Mayor are elected by the sitting Councillors every year at the Organizational meeting in October.
The Council provides direction to the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) who is responsible for the overall administration of the Village.
Regular Council meeting are held on the 1st Wednesday and 3rd Tuesday of the month in Council Chambers starting at 6:30 PM. This schedule is subject to change. The public is invited to attend. The agendas are public and are posted on the webpage by Friday afternoon before the meeting.
Also, on every Council package you will find Council’s Annual Strategic Plan and Action Item updates. The Annual budget is under the Services/Financial tab.
If you wish to appear before the Council please contact us by phone, fax or fill out the Council Presentation Form and return it to our office no later than noon on the Thursday prior to the scheduled meeting.
